An experienced guitarist in the Seacoast NH area, John’s latest venture has been in recording his own original material at home (and at Milk St Studios!) on his one track Focusrite Scarlett. What started out as an experiment with one song “Just Like That”, has turned into an exploratory venture in discovering the potential of home recording. With an opportunity to be writer, producer, vocalist, and musician all at once, these recordings showcase a unique vision that will continue to evolve.
“Understood” focuses on the challenges that arise in our efforts to know ourselves and others, as well as the complicated feelings we experience in nostalgia. Drawing from many influences, this latest song blends an overdriven rock chorus with softer acoustic verses, as well as countless electric guitar tracks. Enjoy!
